Ask the Agent to generate original background music or a sound effect when the built-in Library does not contain what the edit needs. Generated audio is added to My Assets and can then be placed on an audio track.
Generate music
- Switch the composer to Agent.
- Describe the mood, genre, instrumentation, pacing, approximate duration, and whether vocals should be avoided.
- Identify the intended section with an
@Timeline or time reference when placement matters. - Send the request, review any confirmation, and follow progress in My Assets.
- Drag the completed song onto an audio track and trim or mix it in the Timeline and Inspector.
Generate a sound effect
Describe the source, action, environment, intensity, perspective, and duration—for example, a short close-up mechanical latch rather than simply “a click.” After generation, place and trim the result like any other audio asset.
AI music and sound-effect generation use credits. Current product estimates and completed Credits History entries are authoritative. For supplied sounds that do not need generation, use Sound Effects and Transitions.
